Myself and my partner had a fabulous 5 night trip in Bond to Dorset in late June to join family at the 2026 Armour & Embarkation event, as well as exploring the local area.

Everything about hiring Bond was easy, Emma & Julie were wonderful, supportive and thorough in their instructions on how to look after Bond to make our trip as seamless as possible. He was great to drive and set up making it easy breezy from start to finish!

My nine year old son and I have just returned from a fabulous adventure to Cornwall in Bond, to escape the heatwave. It was a lovely smooth drive and we enjoyed a comfortable stay at the cliff top campsite in Polzeath. Driving Bond along the narrow Cornish lanes was easier than I expected and offered great views over the hedges. We enjoyed stunning sunsets and refreshing sea breezes. Sleeping ‘upstairs’ listening to the sea was such a luxury.

This is our second Campervan trip and my son was so excited when I collected Bond again. I really appreciate collecting a beautifully clean and well equipped van which now feels like our own. We are already planning our next adventure!

We rented Bond for the weekend for trip down to the Gower as a family of four - Emma was great to deal with and gave us all the info we needed. Bond is a super camper - in great condition with everything you need, and we had such a fun time, we’ve definitely got the campervan bug!

Fabulous day with Emma getting acquainted with the great Campervan Bond. We covered everything: from linking up to the electrics, how the water and gas cooker works to all the clever little mechanisms for beds and awnings. I'd never driven a van before but Emma gave me lots of useful tips and techniques and lots of practice. As well as a lovely day driving around the New Forest. If you're thinking about buying a camper van or just want to get a bit of camper van practice, this day is highly recommended!

Just returned from a lovely sunny bank holiday away in Bond. On collection Emma was very informative and went through step by step all the necessary information and details to make ourtrip stress free and more importantly fun. We did have to contact Emma as we forgot how to step up the awning, obviously not listening properly 😬 but Emma was straight on the phone and downloaded a video for us to follow. As this was our first “camping trip” we opted for a relatively close site near West Bay Dorset and had a lovely chilled break away. The bed was super comfy and the fridge/freezer was excellent. We also took a Ninji coolbox with us for the necessary essentials which was needed due to the heatwave! We would highly recommend hiring Bond for a fun experience 😊 Sharon & Colin

I have just returned from a fabulous trip to Swanage with my 9 year old son in Bond. The trip was intended to be a brief 2 night mid term trial of using a campervan and we have returned refreshed, renewed and we are smitten, I’ve already booked our next trip.
I have wanted to hire a campervan for years overwhelmed by knowing where to start and nervousness about driving a larger vehicle. I am grateful to Emma and Julie for boosting my confidence by making the whole process straight forward and providing a great handover, demonstrating all the features of Bond.
The van was spotless inside and out with great storage. It is thoughtfully kitted out with all the kitchen essentials. We particularly enjoyed sharing our adventure with Smoo the Highland cow and thank Emma and Julie for their attention to detail and kindness.

All as expected. Super clean van, everything worked and I had an extremely relaxing time in Devon exploring the River Otter.

As erstwhile committed campers we wanted to try something new and, thanks to Emma and Julie, and Bond of course, we are now converts to van-life.
From beginning to end the process was super-simple. The check in was straightforward and included a thorough introduction to Bond. Julie and Emma were very friendly and happy to answer all our questions and so we left feeling confident and excited for our trip.
Bond was easy to drive and manoeuvre, very comfortable and immaculately cared for. There was loads of storage space (which was great for me as a committed over-packer), everything was beautifully laid out, thoughtfully equipped and a doddle for onboard cooking.
We were very grateful for the kind offer of advice for buying our own van and will definitely be back, whether to pick you brains or to take Bond on another adventure – or both! Thanks again.

I hired a campervan from Rural Roamers for a weekend trip to the New Forest with a mate, and it honestly couldn’t have been better. The van was really cosy, surprisingly spacious, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay – from cooking essentials to a comfy sleeping setup.

It made the whole experience feel relaxed and a bit of an adventure at the same time. Waking up surrounded by nature, having everything right there with us, and not needing to worry about accommodation was just perfect.

The whole process was smooth from start to finish, and the van was clean, well-maintained, and easy to drive. We had such a great time – lots of laughs, good food, and a proper switch-off from everyday life.

Would definitely recommend Rural Roamers and will 100% be doing it again!I

Had a fabulous time in Wales with Bond. The van had all the things we needed. Was lovely to drive and comfortable at night. Will be booking again!

I hired this van 14 to 17 February 2026. Just myself and my cocker spaniel. I wanted to try before I buy. Julie and Emma were brilliant support all the way through the process. I loved driving the van and even managed to park it in a normal car parking space in town. It was the ultimate van challenge with wind, rain, cold and a wet dog! I was kept plenty warm enough in the evenings and mornings with the diesel heater. Pulling the bed out and putting it away was a dream. Putting the pop top up and spinning the front double seat around was easy. I camped in the new forest on a site with no facilities so I pitched my toilet tent up just outside and that worked well. Personally I am not sure I would take a dog next time but that’s a personal issue. I would highly recommend hiring this van and I am seriously considering hiring it again. It might make more sense to do that than buy one. Go on do it!

Brilliant weekend away using Bond the VW camper from Rural Roamers. Great hosts who explained how to get the best out of the van!

We hired from Rural Roamers for 4 nights had a great time exploring the New Forest Amy didn't disappoint and was nearly like home from home 😀. Would definitely recommend Emma and Julie were very acknowledge about where to go and what to do ! Many thanks we will be back..

Hired BOND a VW campervan from Emma @ruralroamers. Emma was so thorough and helpful at handover and in the lead up to hire. She was very flexible with pick-up/drop-off times, and mileage making it possible to enjoy a whole full weekend. She even checked in on us when storm Amy hit the UK!!! BOND had everything we needed for a fantastic, self catering holiday. We will definitely came back soon and take her on more of our adventures. 🫶

We had such a fun weekend, very quick communication before, during and after our trip. Thorough demo before we set off as we were complete beginners and were made to feel super confident. We will 100% use again Very clean and tidy van with no issues. Highly recommend
